Helping Professions Program

Through the Jacoby Center, the University of the Pacific offers the Interdiscplinary Helping Professions Minor, which builds on the introductory course, Introduction to the Helping Professions, that familiarizes undergraduate students with the fields providing health and education services to individuals and their families.

Requirements for the Minor

What is a Helping Profession?

A field providing health and education services to individuals and their families. These professions include but are not limited to:

  • Pre-pharmacy
  • Music therapy
  • Psychology
  • Education
  • Sociology
  • Speech Language Pathology
